Antylles Ltd is an international development governance and management consultancy that assists its government clients to create positive change in the lives of their citizens and in the lives of people around the world.
As a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) We acknowledge the global challenge presented by climate change and the particularly negative impacts it is having on some of the world’s poorest communities.
There is no Plan(et) B.
We are committed to promoting environmental sustainability, protecting and reducing
environmental impacts concerning our activities, products and services, while remaining compliant with legislation and regulation.
Actions speak louder than words.
We recognise that is collectively both the Company and the individual’s responsibility to measure and mitigate the impact on the environment arising as a direct or indirect result of Our operations. As such, Antylles commits to:
- Encourage managers and staff to raise awareness among the team and our community
- Encouraging managers and staff to quantify our impact on the environment
- Set targets for our impact and identify appropriate ways to mitigate this impact, for example:
- Considers renewable energy sources where feasible and/or offsetting our carbon emissions where possible to mitigate the impact of delivering our work on the environment.
- Recycles all appropriate materials and encourages reuse and recycling throughout the office environment.
- Considers environmental factors when procuring goods and services;
- Conducts due diligence on all suppliers by screening them for evidence of environmental
mismanagement;
- Cascades our Policy to our suppliers and contractors, and requires all entities that supply us to adhere to a comparable level of environmental protection.
- Where appropriate, include environmentally sustainable advice and options for our clients to consider and implement.
We are all responsible for the Environment.
- The Managing Director has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with all legal and statutory obligations.
- The Operations Lead has day-to-day responsibility for implementing this policy, monitoring its use and effectiveness, and monitoring internal control systems and procedures to ensure they are effective.
- Managers at all levels have a specific responsibility for operating within the boundaries of this policy, ensuring that all staff understand the standards of behaviour expected of them.
- All employees have a responsibility for policy implementation by participating and contributing to its success through their actions and suggestions.
